it's basically rice krispie treats (you can even follow that direction for melting butter, etc..).
corn flakes
marshmellows (2 bags)
butter (2 sticks)
green food coloring
red hots
you melt two sticks of butter.
then melt two bags of large marshmellows (about 40 marshmellows per bag size). you dye the marshmellow/butter mixture green
stir in corn flakes instead of rice krispies (i think 6 cups, but i just eyeball it).
you then spoon the corn krispie mix onto wax paper or cooking sprayed foil and make a hole in the center to make an "O" shape. they look like wreaths. you then add three red hots for holly. freeze/refridgerate them.
sooo cute and everyone loves the look of them. i like the corn flakes texture better than the rice krispie actually. they are really easy and kids can definitely help.
