Holiday Tipping?
Permalink Closed

I am going to be seeing my hairdresser next week & tomorrow I'm going to be seeing the girl who I get regular chair massages from (it's set up through my work, she's here every Wednesday).

Would it be okay if I get them a card & then bank gift card?  Or should I get gifts?  Also, how much should I tip?  I was thinking $20 for the masseuse, but I have no idea about my hairdresser.

I read somewhere that I should tip the cost of one visit to my hairdresser, but, there's no way I can afford that!

Oh, and should I tip my chiropractor?  I haven't seen him much lately though, just on an as needed basis.

i wouldn't be able to afford to tip my hair person that much either.  i typically just double her tip for the last appt. that i have before the holidays, so since i usually tip her about $25, i will tip her $50.  she seems to like this better than when i brought in a comparably-priced bottle of champagne for a gift, so i've just kept doing it.
