actually, it's not that new.  i have been looking for this top that i saw in "lucky" for at least a month--i think it was in the nov. issue.  it's a silver and white brocade top, sleveless, kind of a shift shape, with a really cool large bow detail on the back, by anna sui.  it's very groovy and 60s looking.

i have looked EVERYWHERE and cannot find it.  anyone have any ideas? there isn't an anna boutique in LA, or i would have tried that.    the neiman's by me used to carry anna, and i've been in there 4 or 5 times asking for this top and they don't have any anna right now at all.  help!!!

did you call the # they usually post with the item?  if anna sui has a website, you could perhaps talk to the person in charge of buying and see if they can tell you what boutiques ordered that top and you could take that from there.  i did it with the tracy reese coat and it helped me find it.

Is it this top?

Here's the link to it. Looks like Satine Boutique may have it.

will you help me with outfit ideas for the top (if i get it--cross fingers)? would this skirt be too puffy with it?

with tall black pointy boots?

in the lucky photo, they showed it with some skinny black velvet pants with studs down the side by LaRok (can't find pic anymore).

also, do you think i could just wear it with some dark jeans and strappy heels, to dress them up? or is it too formal to wear w/jeans?

I was wondering if you got that top. I really like it.

I think the top would work with the skirt, as long as it's not too loose. On the model it looked kind of baggy, so I'm not sure how it would fit IRL. I like the idea of it paired with skinny trousers or maybe a pencil skirt. It's also perfect with jeans and strappy heels, definitely not be too formal.
