Should I Splurge For These Boots...
Permalink Closed

i think i want some black boots similar to the kors beaverton boots i have since i wear the beaverton's a ton.

can i justify the $330 price tag since i wear live in chicago and i practically live in boots in the winter?  i love the height and the style.  recently even my bf commented that the boots were such a good investment for me.

here's the boots i'm thinking about getting:

here's the boots on jolie (i think they're the same ones)...

here's another cute pic..and i'm not even Team Jolie :

to get an idea, here's a typical outfit for me:

style #1078319 available sizes: 4 6 8  Kooba Sienna in Cognac

so, i *think* i can make the coat work without the black boots (i've been wearing an outfit similar to this a lot...so maybe i have been a fashion victim this whole time )...but i think that given the wear that i've bestowed on the boots, i should get the black ones because who knows if i will find some i like next year....ya know?

what do you ladies think?  black boots?  i've tried to find less expensive alternatives, but i don't love any the way i loved the kors.  i need honest opinions...

i think they are splurge worthy for you; just because you live in chicago and it seems to snow there from october till may.

I think it looks very stylish, but is that suede on the toe-area? I bet that would get wrecked easily in the snow and show it because it's black.

I saw those pictures of Angelina last night and noticed the boots.  I like them!  I wonder how the suede will hold up though with snow, and salt?

I think you should. You live in Chicago and you need warm boots. You may as well look cute doing it, right?

As a fellow Chicago girl, I think you should get these- they're very cute, they seem warm, and with our weather, you'll probably be wearing them until May!

As your other fellow Chicagoan I say a definite Yes! You always need more than one snow boot here and those are really cute.

FashionPrincess has some that are similar, but cheaper.  They are super cute too!  I think she has them on in the pics under the travel section.

Yes get them, especially if you will wear them a lot. I usually spend more on things that will be used a lot. Also, that would be a cute outfit.

As yet another fellow Chicago girl - I say get them.  It's so cold and snowy here for so long, you'll get a lot of use out of them.  They are really cute and good quality, so they'll last you a while too.

thanks ladies.  i will have to wait to get them after christmas or for my birthday in january.   although since i have to be in chicago for christmas due to work...i have been known to order $300 boots on christmas eve before (that's when i ordered my kors ).

i think for me they are a good investment, i was just worried about getting sick of wedge heel boots by next year, but i don't think i will.  i these boots.
