I was thinking about applying to UNC for grad school. I was wondering if any of you girls have attended UNC or have friends who did. And maybe you could give me tips or advice?

I have a friend who is transferring there to finish up undergrad. He has a friend who goes there and went to visit and totally loved it. Sorry, that's all I know.

what do you want to go to grad school for?


My hubby went there and lots of my high school friends. I applied to UNC and Wake Forest for MBA school and went to Wake b/c it was a lot smaller.


Carolina is a great school and Chapel Hill is so much fun with cool shops, bars and restaurants and a fun college feel on Franklin Street. It is a bit liberal and large -- 25,000 students or so. Big sorority/ frat scene in undergrad.


It is right in the middle of NC-- near Raleigh, the capital, where NC State University is and Durham, where Duke is located.


Great ACC basketball, a couple of hours from the beach, a couple of hours to the mountains....overall a pretty fun place.


I know their dental, law, MBA, and med schools are great. Their MBA school is constantly ranked in the top 20 or so.

I was going to apply to their communication program. I have been researching schools and it seems like that is the only school that interest me.
