I talked to my mom and she said that he is still undergoing treatment but that he's doing well.  I think they're going to hold him for another 24 hours but he should be able to go home after that.  The Dr. said that he may not be himself for a couple of weeks, months, or ever, but at this point it's impossible to know what kind of long term damage may have occurred.  The uncertainty is kind of unsettling but it helps to know that right now everything is ok and that he's doing better. 


Thanks again, you've all really helped me make it though the day.  You guys are the best!
