Holiday Dress?

Personally I don't like it. It just looks like really small grandmawear to me. Not to hijack, but I wanted to post this:

For me this is the classiest dress ever, I think it would last forever, could be dressed up or down. 385.00 DVF.

Oooh, I really like it! And I think it would be perfect for the holiday parties - the color is festive, and happy, too. I wouldn't worry about it getting dated... that collar, and the overall look, is lady-like and classic.

I like the dress you posted too, kisa, for all the reasons you said. I want both of them, like, now.

I'm not very fond of it at first glance, but it maybe just because the model is a toothpick with hair. It would probably look better on a regular curvy gal.

i love jackets like that, but i think i would prefer the items separate. you could always find a lovely vintage jacket like that and wear with a lbd?

thanks for the suggestions. I put the dress on hold at the store and I'm going to try it on this weekend. I also love the DVF, I could totally see wearing that in so many different ways...if you get it, please post a review.

And if I get the dress, I don't think I'll wear it with the jacket...I liked the idea of mixing it up with a black dress.

I'll post a review if and when I get it...or if it makes me look like valentine's candy wrapped up:)
