Beautiful, Stephanie. The fiber optics in the picture looks so cool! Love it! The santas in the curio are wonderful, are they vintage santas, they dont look like any that I see in stores... where are they from? Thank you for sharing.

I love the place settings! Very cute! FYI - fork on the left, knife (facing inward) and spoon on right.

I think it's all great! I love seeing everyone's decorations! I really love that snowglobe on the lawn. ETA: I just figured out that was Snoopy - how great!

wow, your house is sooo festive, I love it!  Snoopy is my absolute favorite cartoon character so I love the one out in front of your house.  Too bad you don't live in Pacific Grove, you would fit right in on Candy Cane Lane.

I love your front yard- just love it, the snow man is so darn huggable  , I keep telling myself I need to add stuff to  my yard. The little village under the main tree is so awesome , I have seen the villages set up other places but this is my first time seeing it under a tree I really like this idea. Okay the snowman plates are to cute, where did you get them? My theme in my kitchen is snowman and these are great I would love to get some or something like it.

Yay, I'm glad you all like it! My dad said that his mom decorated her house in all white, silver, and gold and this is his way of rebeling. I love pulling up to my house at night-- it makes me happy!

aclassicbeauty- haha thanks for setting us straight ... we eventually ended up changing them the right way (after I took the pictures. It's just one of those things that slips the mind sometimes, I guess... and then when someone tells you it's like DUH!! haha

kaykay- we just bought the plates this year (we had a more formal kitchen setup and wanted to go more quirky this year) at Kohls

http://www.kohls.com/products/product_page_multiple0.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=255239055&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=259692101&bmUID=1133800357952

Looks like they've gone on sale since we got them, and they have a few more motifs to choose from.

ETA: lilyann- most of the santas are vintage-- my mom had been collecting them for ages. Some she made in a ceramics class, and a few are new ones that she picks up here and there. Her collection is so big, but my dad limits her to the cabinet so she ust rotates different ones each year. At our old house, she displayed them everywhere and my dad said he won't "stand for it" at this house .

What a fun looking yard!  All I have is lights on the house.  Next year I will go for lawn ornaments like a lit and maybe animated deer.

I found a place setting diagram.  I'm going to print one out for myself since to make it easy.

That's a beautiful Christmas tree! I really love the little village you set up at the base of the tree. Very cute.

*warning* Our house is very beige. My parents are afraid of color. I'm trying to break them out of it, but it's not working. The only color we get is in the Christmas lights

I was laughing so hard at this because it look like my grandmas house. I have been trying to convince her for years that a little color won't hurt her, but she won't hear of it.

Wow. Love all your decorations. I don't even have my tree up yet. Hopefully I will get it up soon and not the week of Christmas.
