i did a search and there seemed to be a lot of hatred for this brand.  i saw a girl wearing them the other day and i LOVED how they looked on her- they were skinny jeans that had a crease on them- medium to light-ish wash.  anyway- so i ordered these jeans (need basic dark jeans- i wear jeans to work every day- far cry from the bus. wardrobe i thought i'd have to accumulate), and i wanted to know if anyone on the board doesn't hate Paige jeans?  any supporters?  i like how they are relatively plain- i'm backlashing against the logos on butt pockets- i got so annoyed at bloomies because every pair of citizens had a huge h logo on it- it used to be more subtle!

Paige Premium Denim

Midnight Rocker Laurel Canyon Stretch

it says the fading is subtle, which is good.  anyway- thoughts?  i need jeans that aren't too flared, are flattering, and are pretty versatile/basic/comfy.

People hate Paige jeans?! The Laurel Canyons are my co-favourite jeans evah (with Rock and Republic Scorpions) - I love the Paige brand, it works well with my body and I like the simplicity as well.

i love my paige jeans too!  i have the trouser style cut (i can't remember what they're called) and wear them to work all the time!  i love how soft they feel.

I guess my thing with Paige isn't hate, but more love/hate.

I reviewed the Laurel Canyons since I bought them when they first came out and I do like the fit (virtually no gaps in the back), but I don't feel the quality of the fabric and construction justifes the price. If I was buying a pair of novelty jeans, I'd be willing to shell out $170ish (I did for my True Religions), but not for basic, plain jeans. The trouser jeans (I think the style names are Hollywood Hills and Brentwood) are cute and what I'm looking for in trouser jeans, except the fit is terrible (and they cost $200...ridiculous!). I have very similar measurments to the creator and fit model, Paige Adamas-Geller, and I guess I was expecting them to be perfect. How come my butt hangs out?

This may be part of the appeal, but I see very few people wearing them around in Los Angeles. It seems like such hype to me and I just hate overblown hype too.

I tried Paige Laurel Canyons on when they first came out and thought they fit nice.  I didn't buy them though b/c I felt the same way Lilykind did- they were kind of plain and didn't really justify the price point.  I do, however, like the credit card pocket she put in the back (is it back? i can't remember now) pocket.  I thought that was neat...

But, if they fit you like a dream and you have been wanting plain dark denim for a while- then get them Lynnie.  We all know how hard it is to find that perfect pair of denim jeans.  i think any one of us would pay the price for it!

i thnk those are really cute.  i have never tried them on, so i can't comment on fit, but i agree with you on how nice it is that they are plain and not obnoxiously over-logo'ed.
