Plain Christmas Tree skirts?
Permalink Closed

Someone here posted that one of their holiday traditions is that her mom embroiders something new on their christmas tree skirt every year & I LOVE that idea. I've been looking for a plain skirt to steal this idea but I am coming up with nothing. I'm thinking it really needs to be light - white, ivory, even gold, and I can't find it. You'd think it wouldn't be that hard but it is. Also, i don't want satiny fabric because I really don't want to fight that material. Also under $50 - nothing like a Christmas challenge for my ST girls!

ETA: or whoever posted about this give me guidance!

Try looking on ebay.  Or you could go to a craft store, they might have ones for embroidery, or you can get the fabric to sew your own together.  This is one from ebay.  Here is a plain white/silver:

Thanks so much - I am kind of an ebay queen so I can't believe I didn't think of that. And I found the original post & it was shopgirl82's family - her mom's was white with red pom pom's - I LOVE that idea. Although that one you posted is beautiful & SO affordable. I must find something....
