Like 'em. I remember the snow boot dilemma in Montreal. You need them to work, and you need them to not look like an oil rig worker's workboots. Those are pretty stylish, but I have a weakness for that whole clog thing.

forgive my total ignorance, as i only ever wear boots at the mountains, but would the wood bottoms be slippery if it's wet or icy out? i think they are cute, but i don't want you to fall.

I was totally going to be a mom and ask a similar question - do they have rubber on the bottom or can you get treads put on?  They look potentially dangerous.

no need to ask forgiveness i checked them out in store and they have a rubber sole that is grooved so i think they will have good traction. i think i'm going to get them (i have such a hard time making up my mind). but i'm still trying to hold out hope that macy's will have them so i can use the coupon.
