I also saw 2 crewneck sweaters at my local JCrew, one camel and one gray, and they were both shimmery. They had a light cable knit.

if they are the same ones I saw (I think they are, b/c I can't find anything similar on the site) then yes, they are. The threads are metallic, so the overall effect is sort of shimmery/sparkly.
