Board games!  We always play scrabble or cranium.  Another kookie tradition we have is watching the Sound of Music.  Last year we mixed it up and watched Elf.  I  that movie.

I like making christmas cookies during the weekend too - it's a fun activity for the kiddies.

My husband will be doing most of the cooking, so my parents and I will probably have a bunch of free time on our hands.  I imagine we'll go for a walk around the lake near my house, play Scrabble, do yardwork (they love doing yardwork), and I just recently got them hooked on Lost, so I'm sure we'll be watching some of the Lost Season 1 dvds.

Political debate. Historical political debate. I come from a family of college professors on my dad's side.

Movies!

We're probably going to rent a whole stack of movies...so far it seems like Napoleon Dynamite and some of the star Wars movies will be getting play. Maybe Robots too...my BF and I are dorky little kids at heart.
