I wasn't a big fan of last night's episode...it was boring. the whole lorelai/rory thing was weird and the bank thing was just dumb.

i'm not sure what's going on with the show - i'm going to stick with it, but it is getting really boring lately.

rory's "cuteness" is now just trite and there seems to be no depth to her character at all. i don't really see much of anything in the show taht seems earnest or meaningful anymore :( it's not like i really sought meaning from it, but i was always really invested in the characters and lately it's kindof just like "eh, whatever."

this is a big change from me actually crying while watching the episodes where rory and lorelei were fighting and not talking! (yes, i'm a dork, i cry at tv shows!)

(i also teared up a bit when richard brough lorelei her dollhouse)

Yeah, I was so thoroughly bored by this episode that halfway through I just turned it off and went up to bed. :(

Totally boring. I barely paid attention. I don't know what the writers are thinking. They had all this good drama to work with - the rift between Lorelai and Rory, Rory's problems with Logan, fights with the grandparents, Jess's visit - and they cooked up these two completely ridiculous plots - Luke's surprise kid and Christopher being rich - but then didn't even do much with them. I'm assuming they develop the Luke-kid plotline more. If there were previews for next week I missed them.

I'm on the verge of giving up on this show which is sad because it used to be so good, but hey it's just a tv show and I watch too much television already!
