Anyone have some good ideas for no cook appetizers? i need to bring something for Thanksgiving, but it'scan't be something that needs to be heated. I was thinking of a crabmeat dip, or spinach dip, maybe ham rolls. But I though I would ask here first.

I'm making spinach dip   I think any dip is a big hit.

Other ideas are a cheese or meat tray with crackers or bread.

Also a Caprese salad makes a yummy appetizer - tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, and basil stacked together sprinkled with olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

spinach dip is easy and everyone seems to like it.  Maybe a few veges and some chunks of bread to dip.

I think i would go with that.

I never make them, but when I'm at a party and they have ham rolls, or some other cream cheese roll, I chow down on them.  Cream cheese and a can of Ro-Tel mixed (w/ dry ranch mix maybe???.  There's something else in there.) is good in the tortillas.

Crab dip, my fave thing to eat and make, soooooo easy!!!

Ingredients:  Crab meat flaked, Cocktail sauce, 1 package cream cheese, Triscut crackers (best with these but it's your choice)

spread the cream cheese out on a large platter, tear up the crab and lay down on cream cheese, cover with cocktail sauce and spread out a bit more.  DONE!!!!!!  Eat with crackers and enjoy!  I swear it's the easiest thing to make but it always goes faster then anything!

this is like cricket's idea, but i like to make these tortilla rolls:

take some large size flour tortillas, spread with a thin layer of cream cheese, and then a thin layer of refried beans (cold, straight out of the can--sounds gross, but it tastes good).

then sprinkle over that some toppings (whichever of these that you like): canned diced green chilies, canned diced black olives, shredded cheddar cheese, canned salsa (not the fresh kind because it makes the rolls too wet and mushy), chopped green onions.

roll each tortilla up into a log shape, wrap in plastic wrap, and put in fridge for a few hours (overnight is better).  then just before serving, slice the logs into thin pieces.
