Bouncing a medicine ball hard on another person's stomach as they are lying down. I heard that people thought that the scar tissue or bruising or something made you have abs. I didn't think anyone would actually believe that until I saw it. WHY?! I wanted to correct them but I hate getting advice when it's not asked for so I just staired in disbelief.

I have to do that for my kickboxing training. We also have to hold our hands behind our heads and breath out short quick breaths while someone punches us in the abs and in the sides. It helps condition your ab muscles to withstand impact. Feels REALLY weird, but works great!!

But do you do it because you think it'll give you a 6 pack or do you do it for simple kickboxing training?

it's more for impact training from what I understand. It strengthens my core muscles so I can take a liver or kidney shot and still be able to breath!! I don't really see how it could help give you a six pack though...

Maybe I can understand it for impact training but I'm pretty sure these kids just wanted a six pack. My bf said that when the ball hits you, your abs contract. By why not just do crunches? Like, if I bounce a medicine ball on your bicep will it make it bigger? Some people...
