STYLETHREAD -- LET'S TALK SHOP!

This may sound really weird but.... Can someone give me some examples of how to looked put together and cute, but still being comfortable, and "dressed down" 

The reason I ask is this.... Im going to philly/atlantic city this weekend, and im a grad student so will be doing alot of studying in the hotel at atlantic city, so I want to be VERY VERY casual, but still look cute and comfy at the same time. 

Could someone help me put some outfits together? P P P P PLEASEEEEE
