i voted for Crosby, but they are both really cute. there are a lot of lace-front boots like that out there right now, though, and so the pull-on ones are a bit more unique. i really like the black.

This is a great point. For that reason alone, I vote for the beavertons.

i like both. just wanted to let you know that macy's had the crosby's and possibly the beaverton's on sale this past weekend - they might still be. i think they were $120 or $130.

I think the Crosby knockoffs are a much better height for wearing with skirts. The Beavertons are kind of an awkward height, I think. They stop at the widest part of the calf, which doesn't seem like it'd be terribly flattering. Just my opinion.

Hey, which store was it? Did they have them in black? I'm having a heck of a time calling all these stupid Macy's stores!!!

i saw them at the colonie center store - (518) 459-1950

i'm not sure if they had black - it was a crazy mess in there. they had them in the tan, for sure.

i'm going to feel really bad if you don't find them at macy's now!

Ok, I think I figured it out. I think what they have are the Michael by Michael Kors boots, which only came in brown and camel and originally $178. They are basically the same boots, but I want black, so I'm back to square one. I'll more than likely end up with the knock off. Thanks for the help though
