by Susanna Clarke. Has anyone read it? I am so curious about this book I may even buy it at a "new" bookstore! I have heard mixed reviews. Anyone here have an opinion?

yes, i read it an loved it.  there were a couple parts i skipped b/c so slow going, just skimmed through, but mostly, the book was great. 


i saw it is available now in paperback at target and they usually have pretty good prices on their books so i might check it out there!

I got this for my dad last year. He said it was cool, but a little strange, and it dragged sometimes (but what book of that size doesn't?). It's on my (long) to-read list, so I'll probably get around to it eventually.
