Oh, MJ, MJ, MJ ... why did you do this? Why take two cute fabrics and then add a wacked out cut-out wedge and visible red rubber sole. Why?

I like them too.  I do think the sole is a bit much, but I don't think they'd be very visible when you were wearing them.

they'd be much cuter w/o the rubber sole, but I still wouldn't wear them.  As was the consensus in the "over the top designers" thread, I'm not wild about MJ in general.  Too weird and Mary-kate-olsenish

I agree - if they had just not done the cutout on the wedge they would be much cuter - I can even handle the red sole if it wasn't so visible in that cutout...

sometimes i think marc jacobs is just playing a big joke on us- kind of like he has talent but knows people will buy his stuff no matter how hideous it is, and he thinks this is amusing so he pushes it as far as he can.  The same way i feel about Rivers Cuomo and the new Weezer album...
