i want to chop off a pair of my jeans to be around this length.

there was a super cute outfit in a jcrew catalog that made me think of this; not this yucky picture of SB.  but pretty close to this length.  what kind of jeans would be best?

I think you would be best with straight leg jeans.  I have some jeans that are meant to be worn cuffed, but when I fold the cuff down they actually look like the ones you posted.  Maybe search for some like that?

i know the jcrew picture you're talking about (that WAS a really cute outfit) -- the jeans in that outfit are flared at the bottom, so if that's what you're going for i would do it with a pair of bootcut jeans.

are you using jeans you already have or buying new ones for this?
