These NN Boots in Camel - *UPDATE*

What do you ladies think? I need ONE PAIR of camel boots, and they say they're Stitched-front leather boots, and they're ON SALE from $74.00 to $21.99; I have them in my NN shopping cart, but I'd like to know what you ladies think. I'm almost 99% sure I'll be buying them.....BUT any help/advise would be greatly appreciated. Looks like MORE than a 3" heel, but we'll see....

I have one pair of shoes from Newport News (the metallic gold wedges featured in Lucky awhile back), I like them and they were quite fashionable, IMO.


But I've ordered a pair of boots from them a couple of years ago, while they looked ok in the pic when I got them home they were the cheapest looking things I'd ever seen.


So I guess my point is while they might be $21.99 they may wind up looking IRL like they are only worth $21.99 if you get my drift. I would pass, but then again if you get them and aren't what you expected you could always send them back.

I ordered a pair from NN recently and the leather was really poor quality. It was real leather, but it looked like plastic. Ick. Hope they work out for you...I hate paying return shipping on stuff.

Well, I was checking my Yahoo email this morning, and had an email from NN about this order, and come to find the size I ordered IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE, so OH WELL! I guess these weren't meant for me, so my HUNT for camel/tan boots continues.....LOL

I ordered a pair of NN leather boots once and it was the worst purchase I have ever made.  The leather was cheap and plastic-y and the calf was huge enough that I could fit my clenched hand in behind my calf.  They looked really nice in the catalog...

These are one sale at anntaylorloft.com for $69.  They're suede so that might not be what you're looking for.
