My dad wants a hoodie (male fashion question)
Permalink Closed

My dad loves my sister's new printed hoodie and has declared that he wants a hoodie for Christmas.

So...can anyone find a printed hoodie that would look good on a 50-year-old guy? I was thinking of ordering something from Neighborhoodies...maybe a plain color like navy with a graphic like this?

What do you think? Should I stick to plain? Be honest, I don't want him to look like a dweeb.

For reference, he looks younger than his age (more like 45), has a pretty slight build (5'7"/140ihsh) and most of his clothes are pretty plain (not dorky dad-ish).

TIA!

They have hoodies with that design that you posted at Express for a pretty good price.

I would err on the side of too little rather than too much. I like the graphic you posted, I think it would be cool and appropriate.

I got my boyfriend a Neighborhoodie for Christmas a couple years ago and he loved it, especially that it was custom made.

I got him the Classic hoodie in Maroon with the town he used to live in Japan written across the front.

I like the graphic you chose!

I'd try Blue Marlin.  They have some cool looking hoodies.  They used to have a women's line too, but it looks like that's gone now.

I have seen that graphic a lot I think. Maybe try Aeropostale, Old Navy. I actually think I bought a hoodie for my dad in Old Navy with that graphic.
