He loved my geek glasses. I think they made me look a bit too emo for my own good, but A LOT of guys were into my glasses.
He likes jeans. He used to buy me jeans because they looked good on me.
He also likes dancewear...wrap sweaters, leotards (I have yet to have the bravery to wear one in public...too 80s), legwarmers (see leotards), tights. Tights and minis are a winning combo for him.
He also likes my superhero t-shirts. He's a huge comic book/cartoon geek. Who knew?
My bf is hopelessly clueless about fashion. I can tell he totally doesn't "understand" most of the stuff I wear. Luckily, I'm pretty confident so I've learned to live without compliments from him. He says he likes it when I'm wearing a tee shirt / tank top and lounging pants. He hates jeans and always suggests khakis . I told you, clueless. I know there's a time and a place for a nice pair of khakis but not the way he suggests. Also, he HATES it when I wear make-up.
My bf likes the obvious -- lingerie (which i don't buy), low cut tops, form-fitting pants (he is obsessed with my butt. whatever. it looks like everyone else's to me), anything that is sexy. He also likes it when I'm all cuddly-looking in a sweater and winter hat. I don't get it. Basically, he just loves the fact that I look his age (23), but am almost 30 (in 2 mos. ), so he wants me to dress sexy all the time. Really, it's my chipmunk cheeks that make me look youthful.
Now my ex-h would want me to wear floor-length dresses with a high collar and bows in my hair (I'm not joking, he said this once). He's very old-fashioned and didn't want anyone looking at me. He didn't look at me either. LOL
