well, I might really be able to get this (talked to dad today!). Sisters will buy something they like, and it'll be a surprise. Same from friends, I dont' really like to ask unless I really need it (see the dig cam).

What really want tho is seeing my family and friends back in Italy. Can't wait!

Hmm, I just have the usual DVD's, gift certificates for Sephora and the local coffee place, a really cool coffee bean candle, some magazine subscriptions, and the big one on the list this year is an espresso machine

TIVO. this is my big one. we have it @ home & i am dying at school without it.

monogrammed towels. & pretty much anything home-y because i'm moving out of my dorm & into an apartment next semester.

I don't think I'm going to get much this year since my sister is poor and my dad just announced that he's going to retire in a few months at the ripe old age of 55! But here's what's on my list (lots of stuff left over from last year's list actually).

-complete New Yorker magazine (1925-2005) on dvd
-Brideshead Revisisted dvd
-magazine subscriptions - travel and cooking magazines
-good mattress pad -- my mattress is so uncomfortable
-these knobs from anthro for my beat up old dresser

-a bookcase since mine is overflowing
-a cool jewelry box
