Bad un-Fashionable Idea?
Permalink Closed

I don't know why I'm drawn to these jeans. I haven't worn black jeans since beginning of high school. Long and Leans fit me so well, but are black jeans a bad idea? Could I make them chic? I promise they would be tossed out at the very first sign of fading.

Please be brutally honest.

Personally, I think you should get them. I haven't read anywhere that black jeans are not in style.

I think black denim is perfectly fine. I have seen many people wearing the tight-legged black jeans this fall, and I wear mine when I can fit in them.

I really like those jeans too, and thought about getting them. I saw them in person and they look nice.

I like skinny black jeans when worn in a kind of punkish-biker way. I don't like it when people try to pretend they're as dressy as black wool pants. But I think you would be able to use your discretion and awesome fashion sense to make them look good. I'll be holding you to that promise of throwing htem out at the first sight of fading, though.

I like them too.  I have the same problem that Lilykind mentioned--people mistaking black jeans for nice black pants.  They're definitely not the same thing.  I think you should get them.

hmm...i can't help but see black jeans in a dated sort of way.  however, i definitely think you have absolutely awesome fashion sense so just use your judgment and i'm sure you'll make the right decision.
