it's pretty, but $300 is a hell of a lot to spend on something that's just going to get banged up, scuffed and worn from bouncing around inside your handbag all the time.

Normally, I would totally agree with sephorablue, but I really like that wallet so I voted yes.

well- it depends.  Its worth it in the sense that cost per wear is going to be ridiculous as long as you don't lose it.  if it makes you happy every time you see it, then its worth it.  just make sure its the wallet you'll want in a few years- you might be sick of the gold or not really want an obvious logo on it by then.  I don't think its worth it in the sense that you can't find a great wallet for way less.  I have a hobo international wallet and i adore it.  it was like $50- which i thought was pricey!!

It's really pretty, but I don't think I'd be comfortable paying $310 for a wallet, but that's me.  Coach has this wallet that's kind of similar for $178.  I've had a Coach wallet for years and it's held up amazingly well and it still looks gorgeous.

This one is $228.

I really like the wallet, but if you're looking for a gold wallet, you might be able to get a similar one a bit cheaper. I just got a great Cole Haan wallet in gold on sale from Saks (marked down to $33!). They don't have it at Saks anymore, but here it is on the Cole Haan site (not in the gold tho- in a different color- if you like it, you could try calling saks or cole haan- fyi- the gold color is very similar to the prada wallet, but a little more "vintage gold"- kinda like the fiore audra bag)-

This Kate Spade wallet is sorta similar-

But, if you're really in love with the Prada one, go for it- it's really pretty!

I'm not normally a Prada girl, but that wallet is really nice. That said, I think the Coach and Kate Spade ones are viable substitutes that are just as pretty and really durable as well. I spent around $100 on my green Coach wallet and it was worth every penny.

Well from previous conversations with you I know I should be good and say no its overpriced but I'm an enabler and I say GET IT!!!

I think its great and you will use it everyday.  I just got a kate spade planner and everyone thinks it was a waste of money and overpriced but who cares because I love it (I'm sure I will hear the same thing when I get my Chanel sunglasses in the spring).  If you love the wallet then get it.

I like the wallet a lot! If you think you'll use it enough, I say get it. I also like the Cole Haan wallet that someone posted.

Isubatgirl, I have two pairs of Chanel sunglasses and everyone said they were a waste of money, but every time I wear them it makes me happy, and they look so nice! You won't regret buying a pair.
