I know the topic line sounds weird, but I work in a library and am sick of getting dirty looks for the noise I make whenever I wear my cute heels to work.
I'm looking for heels or wedges that won't make much noise. Please help me!
Is it the hard soles of the shoes agains non-carpeted floors that create the noise? If so, you could take a few of the shoes you wear most to the cobbler and have him put a rubber protective/cushiony/noise-reducing sole on the bottom. I had that done on a pair of boots for $20, which included a polishing and waterproofing. You might get it done for cheaper too. That would be cheaper than buying new shoes.
