I'm intrigued by the idea of cramming all essentials into a little wristlet and just running out the door on days when I don't feel like lugging my huge tote around, but I didn't want to spend a lot of money on something I may not end up using at all (I'm used to carrying my life around so this is an experiment in downsizing.) I found this for about $10, but my question is... red or black?

Oops, I meant to vote black, but clicked on red, sorry.  I also wanted to say that I usually carry a tote to work, but keep the essentials--wallet, chapstick, mini nail kit, tissues, powder compact, and small bottle of lotion--in a cosmetics bag (similarly sized to a wristlet) and basically just transfer that from tote to tote.  When I use a regular purse, I just transfer all the items individually into the purse.  It has made my life so much easier--no more running around trying to find my chapstick, etc.

I voted red; I think it's punchier and shows the detailing more (at least in the pic, anyway).
