These are three of my most recent purchases and I have no idea what to wear the pieces with and I also need shoe ideas. I know I ask a lot but if you could see me right now you would totally understand. I've been in a fashion rut for a couple of months and I can't seem to get out....HELP!!
well I dont consider myself a fashion expert next to the other girls , but that skirt would look really cute with a cami and blazer you can pair it with heels or even boots would look cute. A sweater would look great with the skirt too.The dark green tee is a great layer peice for some reason i see it under the printed shirt you have, hum maybe with jeans or even brown cords, brown trousers and some cute flats or heels would look great too.I love the brown and green combo. Iam sure you do not look as bad as you think. We would love to see your outfits, and i think one of the ladies has said it before but looking through the old style thread forms are a great help
I would do the green shirt unbuttoned some more with a long-ish beater underneath (white or black, or even a color, depending on your mood) with some cute jeans and flats, or for a more casual look, some cool sneakers. The green shirt is also good for layering under a sweater...
I'd do the skirt with some tall boots (good for winter) and a nice black turtleneck for a sleek look...
I need outfits that are mainly casual, like for school or shopping. Shoe height is kind of tricky, I have all heights and can do okay in most of them, however, I prefer a mid height range and as far as style is concerned I know nothing about shoe style...anything helps. I have a pair of chocolate brown cords, a couple of denim jackets, brown, khaki and black blazers; and not too many tanks or tees. Thanks for the help!
Okay, then. I think you're off to a great start. I might also suggest getting some tanks and tees in different colors for layering - alot of the girls here wear white men's Hanes tanks under things for layering, and they are really cheap.
Shoes! Since both school and shopping require a fair amount of walking, I would start with a pair or 2 of flats, a couple pairs of clogs and/or wedges, and cool pair of sneakers, and possibly a casual boot.
$39$29$29
$78$29$45
$78 or$20
$29 or$66

Hope that helps!

I own the black wedges, they are extremely comfortable. I am actually wearing them right now. I got them 3 weeks ago at Filenes for $25. I think I might get them in brown b/c they are that great.
Oh my gosh...I am so excited. Those ideas sound wonderful. I love all of those shoes...and those combinations are great. I have a lot of trouble trying to figure out what to wear with what and under what or over what. You have helped give me take a great step in the right direction. Thank you!
