i am thinking tall boots like these:



and some tights like these:



and i have a fabulous new red wool coat with a dramatic collar to wear over it. 


maybe a necklace like this?


but it's feeling a little un-creative.  anyone have some more colorful/interesting options? it's for my company xmas party...

i don't need to wear the red coat, though i'd like to.


i have a really pretty pair of magenta/pink satin strappy heels, and i have gold leather ones, black leather pumps with a peep-toe, etc.  not married to the idea of the boots.

I love the idea of the pair of the  magenta/pink satin strappy heels with this . It would add some pop of color - hot! do you have a pic of them ?

they are similar to these, but they have a little ruffly trim on the front part and the color is deeper, more of a magenta/raspberry...

I like the magenta heels idea, but I also really like the boots.  I think that's a very creative choice for that dress -- cool and unexpected!   That said, for a "pop", I would go for a long necklace like the one you have pictured, but something in an unexpected color or shape.

thanks, eurodaisy--i like the 2nd and 3rd necklaces you posted.  i will check those out.  i have something really similar to the first one also--i guess i could do that, but i wore it to this same party last year.
