need help: basic black pumps
Permalink Closed

I recently broke the heel of my favorite pair of black pumps for work.  I am seeking a replacement.  I have plenty of really tall pumps...but I have a few pairs of pants that aren't as long and I need about a 2.5 inch heel or so.

It is really hard to find a cute black pump with a shorter heel...that isn' to boxy or old lady.  Do any of you have some you like or have any recommendations?

These are from Target, and might do until you find a better quality one.

$23, 2.5 in. heel

no heel height info given

no heel info, but it looks low

OMG! I love, love, love the shoes from Target that zeitgeist4 posted. I have the ones at the bottom and I've already bought two pairs of them. They're very comfy and they're the perfect heel height if you're looking for a kitten heel.

But I wouldn't buy them as a replacement pair b/c the quality isn't that great. (It's not bad, esp. for a Target shoe, but it's not esp. good either.) But if you need something until you find the perfect shoe, it's good.

*sniffle* I don't actually recommend shopping at Target though...

Because you will buy too much stuff?  That's the only reason I can think of.

They are crap-heads who are allowing their pharmacists to refuse to fill emergency BCP prescriptions if they have religious objections to it.  Some people are boycotting them until they change their policy - there's a big thread on it, including articles on the topic, in Current Events.

What's the maximum you'd want to pay, Kari?
