So in an effort to keep these damn boots I tried to build an outfit.  If it is a winner, then I will buy other gauchos from like F21 and other sweater/cardi things.  What do you guys think of the overall style?

I like them! I think the key will be getting the right outfits. Maybe also a slightly longer skirt than the one you tried yesterday? I can't tell for sure from the pics, but maybe the key is covering up the very top of the boot?

They look really cute!  And I totally agree w/Lisa - I think the key is covering the top of the boot, so I say wear them w/gauchos and longer skirts.  Keep them - they are very cute!
