I know we've talked about myspace about a kagillion times, but I'm wondering if this is the way I want to go. I am really wanting to do a blog for my knitting projects - I KNOW, I'M A NERD , but is myspace appropriate for that? apple has a service for this, but it's $100 a year & i would pay it but I don't even like the layout. I want room to write if I feel like it, and I want to put up boring project pictures. I'd also like to add things about my life so my family could check it out if they were interested. Thoughts? I just feel like the myspace people that are here are single & it's more of a "meet people" place which is not really where I'm going with this...if that makes sense.
And if myspace isn't the answer,, suggestions on other free (or cheap) places for a blog?

Eh...it's always worth a shot. I don't feel like myspace is just to 'meet people.' I just find it amusing to keep in touch with friends over myspace. And it's fun to add pictures and blogs and bulletins. It would never hurt to try it out and see what happens.
BTW, are you already on myspace?? I always forget who is who b/c the names are different on there.
I actually thing you might want to try blogger.com for a blog for knitting. With myspace you'll be able to meet people and reconnect with people that you haven't seen in awhile and meet other knitters, but your family won't be able to see anything you've done unless they're myspacers as well. Blogger's really easy to use and it's free and you can upload pictures to it really easily. Anyway, that's my two cents. Both are great, but they both serve different purposes.

You can add me to your myspace: http://www.myspace.com/lindz7000
Thanks for the tip. I'm moving ahead with myspace since I already started creating a profile, but I'll look into blogger as well. I don't want to look like a granny on myspace. Man, creating a profile has made me feel very non-interesting!
