Hi, I'm looking for a nice long-lasting dark nail polish, preferably a black or reddish shade. I really want to buy Chanel Vamp nail polish, but I've promised myself not to buy any more of it since I don't use the three bottles I have all that often. Does anyone know anything similar?

my current pedicure is an OPI color- it's from their newest collection and the name is something like "lincoln park after dark."  it's a realllllly dark purply red (almost black).  looks awesome on toes!  i had it on my fingers too, but i took it off- a little too dark for my tastes.

You must must must get Essie's "Wicked". It is an incredible dark dark reddish/purple color.

Thank you for the suggestions! I'll be sure to check out both the OPI and Essie.

Not to highjack your thread but I was seriously thinking about going black on my toes - is that too tacky? I like to throw a little punk into my life to keep me from getting too "suburban mom-ish"! Maybe these are a good alternative....

No worries laken! I have fairly light skin, so I usually only go with dark colors on my toes. They seem to look too harsh on my hands, but I'm probably the only one who notices that.
