Do you still use lip liner?
Permalink Closed

Or am I the ONLY person on Earth who still uses it?! LOL I just feel funny w/out it, UNLESS I'm just wearing some clear lipgloss, but everyday for work, I reach for one, then my lipstick/gloss, and I think I look just fine. I see Carmindy on WNTW, telling the MOs NOT to wear lipliner, how it ages you, etc., but I agree to disagree. LOL I was just wondering.

I wear it, but it is pretty much the same shade as my lipstick.  You can't really see the line.  I've tried not wearing it, but then I realized that I don't know how to put on lipstick evenly without it.

I used to not wear it until recently. I use a nude liner, Mac's Spice (I think) and I think it makes a significant difference on me. It's neutral so it doesn't show a clear line, but it keeps the gloss/color in place. I use it when I wear lipstick or just plain gloss.

i think this is the one i occasionally use.  but when i line my lips, it's always a neutral color and it's more of a base than a liner.

Yes, the key to lip liner is to use it as a base, as in blend it into all of the lips, not just a line around and in a more nude shade.  Definite lines age you and look a little too 90's.

I also use it as base, but only for glosses--seems to help them stay on longer.  My favorite liner is Estee' Lauder Spice, the perfect neutral color.
