outfit for company holiday party
Permalink Closed

i have a company holiday party in a couple of weeks that is "business casual".  we work in a pretty creative industry so i have a lot more flexibility than most.  i will be meeting a lot of office people for the first time that i usually only talk to on the phone that help me out a lot with my work.

i would really like an excuse to get this sweater:

and possibly wear my miss sixty choc. brown dance boots with it...

any idea for bottoms?  skirt?  gaucho?

tia!

I just wanted to tell you that you don't need an excuse to buy that sweater!  I have it in gray and it's fabulous - it's sooo soft and pretty.  Get it!  You'll make it work!

Well, crap!  Hopefully the store will have it - if not, I think this one would be equally as awesome:

Hmmm...........I think I like #1 better - better contrast of materials, but the 2nd outfit does look cozy (I LOVE LMonet's skirt too).  Definitely get the sweater!

i've seen the BR skirt in person and its just not my style... but thanks for the suggestion...

i went to BR today and looked around and couldn't find anything i really like there to go with the sweater.  i may just end up getting a new pair of dress pants in a carmel color since i don't have any and go with that...

i'll let you know what i come up with...

I've actually been eyeing this skirt for a while! (stylebakery featured it a little while back) I just have too many similar skirts ...
