I had to have this shirt. I buy some vintage stuff from this lady on ebay & she had a navy one months & months ago & I fell in love with it but it went for something ridiculous like $170 or something. So when I saw this one I thought great! I'll bid on it. And I won it very cheap (like $18)
then I looked at her other listings & ordered this since I've been looking for one & no one bid, i could combine shipping, etc & I got it for $5. I already took those green pompons off of it.
So now I'm stuck because I don't know what to wear with either. I like them, the first one looks good on, but I have no clue how to wear it without looking like someone's mom. And as much as I love shawls & wraps - I can't make it look right.
Help! How I hate buyer's remorse and a no return policy!
ETA: I am about to list some stuff on ebay, so i could always relist, but I'd rather make them work.

I think the first requires some sharp, dark denim. And an equally sharp pair of stilettos
Be careful not to put an eye out with all the sharp stuff you'll be wearing! hahaha. I agree though.
And the same could work for the second one - I like the idea of a cape-y thing (sort of old-fashioned in idea) with a tank and jeans, or a modern top, like a form-fitting C&C type top. Plus heels, of course.
FP posted this during the winter, and you could do something similar:
HTH, they're both lovely. I'd hate to see you relist them!

This sounds crazy, but I have a similar top to the first one, except mine is white. I wear it all the time, and find it very versatile. Normally, I wear it with a medium wash jean and flats (and a blazer if it gets cool).
This was also my first though. Maybe you could also wear your hair back in a messy bun and drop or linear earrings, pick up one of the colors in the top. Please post pics if and when you decide to wear it. It's way cute.

laken: i have a jacket almost exactly like the first, only it's red with just white embroidery (of butterflies). i typically wear it with a plain tee and jeans, and black pointy boots. (but not overly pointy)
