my BF loves Zegna ties but he only wears super conservative ones..


What on earth is a conservative tie?


last time i was in the zegna store in beverly hills, i just asked the man that worked there to help.  the ties he picked were perfect.  butthead was in tie heaven.

i hear you tara t... what's a conservative tie?! it's a tie! due to it's very nature it's conservative.. but if anyone should understand the subtleties of fashion it should be the women on this forum.

what kind of shirts does he have? i would go thru that and then think about his ties. a tie without a shirt stays in the closet!

shirts are white, blue and sometimes yellow.  he's really boring in the clothes department.


i wish i could fly out LA, go to zegna and find that man who picked his last ties.  i thought about calling and asking them but i'm not sure that would work.

Ok, I am now obsessed with those wool/cashmere ties.  I totally see them with a sweater vest or v-neck sweater layered over a dress shirt, very new England, east coast, JCrew vibe.  I think I'll be trying to talk hubby into getting one tonight.
