How do you keep your white down comforters clean?  We just had to throw ours away :( it was soo dirty and to dry clean it would cost more than it cost!  We bought an ivory one...

Try using a comforter cover.  They are expensive but not nearly as expensive as buying a new comforter.

Agreed. Every one of our down comforters has a duvet, which is so easy to clean.

Same here - a duvet is much easier to throw in the wash than a whole comforter - that is a nightmare.  One time, I tried to wash my comforter, and it actually got burnt in the dryer because it was too big and was stuck to one of the drying vents   I'm such an arse - I had to throw it away!

Thanks girls!  Any suggestions?  Here's my look (man I really need a digital cam):

My bedroom is black, cream, beige/tan, and w/ pale blue accents. Kind of like this but a black bed and with light blue accents.
