on  doing on your next off day?


 


Because I work 2 jobs in the wonderful world of retail I've let many things go to pot around my neck of the woods.So I've made a list of things I'm going to do - I have the next 5 days off.


1) Clean my rats nest of an apartment - from top to bottom, it's gotten to be disgusting you ladies would be disapointed in me.


-items will be taken to good will, put on ebay or tossed in the dumpster.


2) I'm going to a little get together tomorrow nite w/ one of my buddies from work.


 


3)Hair appt on Thursday.


4)Go to Costco...never been, but my friend has a membership and is taking me, I plan on stockpiling some things.


5) SAMPLE SALES.........I still need several key pieces for winter, I'm hoping I score some items!


6)Go to movies or something with the BF.


7)Find sometime to sit on my ass and do absolutely nothing.

 well I have two days off this week and iam going to put up my christmas tree and all the other decorations I know kinda early but I would like to enjoy it a little longer this year

One of my favorite things to do on my days off is watch Oprah.  It sounds silly, but I love watching Oprah and I never get to anymore now that I work 8-5.  I actually love seeing movies by myself too.  I saw In Her Shoes on my last day off because my DH didn't want to see it.  There's something really nice about going to a movie theater and not having to factor anyone else's opinion into what you're going to see.

Not to hijack the thread, but today's show is supposed to be really good.  Stacy London from What Not To Wear will be on Oprah and they will talk about the best jeans and bras for everyone.  They will do makeovers.  I love makeover shows.


On my next day off I plan to clean up.

Actually I've tivo'd the whole new season and have ony watched maybe 3.5 episodes........I think I'll add that to my list..........catch up on Oprah.

well, my next day off is tomorrow and I am spending the day driving home to NY (so not very fun), but my next real off day will be spent decorating my new apartment and baking yummy treats!

i would love to lay on the couch and watch tv.


but will probably end up cleaning, grocery shopping, running errands, and other crap that i need to do.

My last day off was this past Friday, for the Veteran's Day holiday, and of COURSE - I shopped! LOL Then I took yesterday off also, and - SHOPPED some more! LOL Joe gave me a lil' change, so that was VERY nice! What I REALLY want to do is get my clothes/shoes room a lil' more organized, order myself some more of those Huggale Hangers off of HSN - those things are GREAT, esp. if you're needing more ROOM like me, in my closets.

I had this past Friday and Monday off and I spent them going to interviews. I had the first part of the morning off today and went to an interview. My days off are spent going to interviews.  I've had five in three days. Whew!

well i had today off and did my MIL's hair and did a little shopping.

i only work three days a week, and this is my thurs/fri/sat off week so i'm definitely looking forward to that. unfortunately i have to go to some dippy work meeting thurs, but at least we get 70% off products that day. otherwise i will have lunch with a friend and friday i am doing a friend's hair. i might *gasp* put our tree up and start other xmas decorating. more shopping to come, i guess. i am hoping to get all my xmas shopping done. (yeah right)
