Okay, not sure how many will be interested, but I just learned that Verizon actually has other text packages than the lame "IN" $5/month unlimited texting which is only for texting other VZ customers.  You can get 100 texts/month for $2.99/month and you can spend them on ANYONE you want!!  I just signed up and I'm so glad I did cuz JB (see dating section) loves to text!!  There are other packages too like 250/month for $4.99, but I think 100 is plenty for me!

I have never texted anybody with my phone!  I only use my phone for talking, checking e-mail, getting phone numbers, calculator, and of course time and date.

I have Verizon and I have their text message plan too. I text a lot, so I found it was more cost effective to switch over. I recommend it too

I just switched to verizon too and just learned the fun of texting people.  I had never had it before but shoot 100 texts for $3 a month is great!!
