Id like to get the stella hm skinny jeans, probably have to get it on ebay or have someone go looking for me at the hm stores since i dont live near one that sells stella, and was wondering if anyone that has tried them on could help me out with sizing.  Ive heard on here they run small, but still dont know what size would work for me.  I wear between a 28 and 29 in sevens, 29 in saltworks (they fit perfectly), so i guess im around a size 6, and about 5'4''  Any help you could give on sizing would be great.

nicoley - i don't know about the jeans, but i bought a pair skinny zipper trousers. i wear 26/27 in salt jeans.

i bought a 34 it fit but i felt like i wanted more breathing room (esp. for my big calves!) so i stuck with the 36.

just for other references i wear 2 in express editors, 26 in paper denim, but i am apple-shaped (huge middle but no hips).

dot--what is the 36 called in the "american" sizing for this line? a "6"? the sizes seem to be labeled in a very screwy way.

yeah it is... i tried on a lot of stuff and it's all zaney.

the pants run small, small, small. but tops, because i guess the look is oversized tops, runs big big big.. especially with the sweaters not so much with the camis.

i tried on two camis.. one in 38 and one in 34 and the 34 fit but the 38 gave me the purging armpit fat handles! the 34 was the studded cami (i would say that was a true/smallish 4) and the 38 was the silk cami (definitely NOT tts!). maybe i got one that was wrongly labeled!

also i tried on the wool overcoat and felt it was tts/slight small.

if you have a question about a specific piece, i probably tried it on! so ask away.

oh yay! so helpful!

i am looking at the tuxedo blazer on ebay, and can't decide if i need a 10 or 12.  i think normally i would buy a 10 at H&M, but does that jacket run even smaller than H&M does normally? i am about an 8/10 on top at normal stores.  most blazers i own are 8s.

bumblebee - i would definitely size up. these jackets are cut tight and narrow to be really fitted. i would definitely look for a 10. also the closing button on this is very low (deep v-cut neck when closed)... so the narrowest point, where the jacket cinches, is right at the belly button.

i have absolutely waist, broad shoulders, sausage arms and i'm totally apple style so 36 was right for me. i have kind of a strange body where i'm very v-shaped (like a boy) and have a big tummy. i think maybe someone with a more hour-glassy figure to wear this blazer tts. as a reference, in old navy blazers i wear a S and i think 4 in Ann Taylor (sorry don't have much blazer experience!).

i think maybe i should hold out for a 12 then, if they are cut to be very narrow.  i have broad shoulders and am quite busty, so that's the problem with jackets.  i think 12 is where it's at.  thanks so much!

i don't know.. i didn't even get a chance to see the jeans! i think to be safe size up. these jeans are cut very narrow and supposed to be very skinny so if you normally wear a 6 definitely get 38. but i have thick legs and even for me, i fit in the 34 (like the waist part) but the legs were too tight so i sized up. there wasn't a huge difference in the sizes... so i would just say size up! sorry i wish i could be more helpful but i didn't even get to see the jeans

I bought the jeans in a size 34 (us 4). They fit perfect except in length. Do you guys think the scrunching look at the bottom will look okay? The sizes started at 34, 36, 38, etc. Hm, I take a size 1 jeans at gap/Old Navy, 27 at h&m jeans. Hope that helps.
