meow, i LOVE the necklace you posted. i was thinking that dress would look good with tall, shiny black boots and maybe some kind of chunky sweater. let me hunt around and see what i see...
ooh... interesting color combos for the green print dress, BQ... really like the idea of a print sweater with with the grey one... I'm glad you're obsessed with the green print one too - I love the very art deco print... I was thinking maybe a camel turtleneck and my miss sixty boots might be interesting with it... I was also thinking of a black or charcoal turtleneck under the grey one... what do you think?
bumblybee - I think I bought the last one sorry!

for some reason i think the gray dress would look fab with a tneck underneath, and maryjanes. to get over the schoolgirl jumper vibe, you could tuck the straps in.

Oh yeah, I completely forgot for a minute you have the green MS boots. I think the camel TN would look great with the boots, maybe even with a belt over the TN?
I also can't get that rich burgundy/brick tunic cardi you posted on threadstyle this week off my head paired with the green dress? Maybe you could try it to see how it looks IRL.
I also think that grey and black dress would look really good worn over a turtleneck. If you wanted to dress it down a bit you could wear it over a thermal/tee and maybe add a cool short sleeve cardigan or sweater vest.
bah--it's okay--i was still able to do $800 worth of damage.
i got this in two different sizes
and then one like this catherine malandrino one, but i guess i must have gotten the last one of those--can't find the picture anymore. the style is similar to this one, but it's velvet trimmed in silk (much cuter, too, imho):
i only need one of them to work for this holiday party, so the other two will be going back.
i had this crazy idea to have my hair person put my hair up into a kate beckinsale in "pearl harbor" 40s updo and wear red lipstick, just for fun. but that was before i found this dress--would the combo of that with the little-girl-ish dress be weird and
would that hair/makeup scenario look better with something more...grownup/sexy?
i think i just answered my own question--i think i'd look like some kind of scary doll in that combo with this dress.
