I'm wondering if the holes left in your clothes from the pins on the security tags bother you and/or ever cause you problems? There's a small (but noticeable) hole in the velvet of a shirt I just got, and I'm wondering if it will ever get bigger?
There have been some cases where the hole is tiny and it's in a knit fabric so you can kind of just "rub" it away, but I can't do that with the velvet.
Any of you have problems like this? Maybe if I only ever dry-clean the shirt and not wash it with water, it will be ok?
Most of the things I buy are okay since some people take extra care to make sure the pin on the tag goes through the seam and not puncture the fabric. If I see something with a hole left in it, and am bothered about it, I do not buy it. If people didn't have to steal things, we wouldn't have to worry about it...
This just happened to me with a knit dress from Anthropologie....I asked for a different dress and they had put the sensor in the same spot on that one! I did tell the manager that maybe they should be sticking them in the seams.
She said if the hole got bigger to bring it back. So far, no problems!
