I have to get a dress or an outfit for sat. something to wear to temple in the morning (We are naming the baby) - I have tried clothes on in a bunch of places..but between my huge boobs and lack of waist line I can't find anything that looks good.
Any advice on where to find something? I swear they should make post-partum clothing stores.
PS...I need to get something TODAY in a BM store!!
Oooh, I so wish I could help more with this. I can't post pics right now, but my only idea is:
That Target top that CarrieS posted a while back is ample in the chest area and goes up to size XL - it's a wrap-type top with Kimono sleeves, if you remember. It has a band right under the chest, around the rib-cage, which I think would put the focus on your chest and take it off your tummy. And, hopefully your rib cage is more back to regular size than your tummy, right? I own the top and it's so so flattering, and my natural body type is waistline-less. Plus, I got a small (and I'm a 32D) so I'm sure the M, L, or XL would accommodate you. It comes in black and plum and red, I think. I have it in plum and it's gorgeous.
Then, perhaps a simple pencil skirt or fluttery-bottomed skirt on the bottom. I think that gray trumpet skirt everyone's been posting from the Gap or BR would be really cute.
HTH!

I second a wrap dress. Do you have an Anthro nearby? I think this dress could be very forgiving with the slight empire waistline. Actually i was thinking of trying it on over my growing belly now, I'm so in love with it.

This dress is quite possible the most unflattering dress I've ever tried on in my life! I was so disappointed when I put it on. Perhaps it's just my body but I don't think so. I give it a big 'old thumbs down.

Oh Collette it breaks my heart to hear that. What seems to be the issue with it? I was wondering if it had a "panel" where it seems to wrap around under the bust. That would make it unwearable for me.

Ooooh, I second this! I just bought that shirt yesterday in brown. I figured it would never work because I have a large chest and those under-boob bands never lay in the right place, but it was perfect. You may have to wear a little cami under it if you don't want too much cleavage for Temple, but it's such a great fit. That with some nice pants and heels would be great.
