Update - Thanks to all of you girls for your help w/what to wear. I just got back from the interview w/Kill Hannah and it went GREAT!!! They were such sweet guys, it felt like I was talking to old friends. I had so much fun and they couldn't have been nicer. I took some pics w/the cuties in the band (I have a stupid crush on the lead singer) so I'll post them soon!
If you remember my thread from the other day...I need something to wear to interview a band (who are alternative/emo -ish) Below are two outfits I tried on - what do you think? Or should I start from scratch? I'm trying to look like myself, with a "rock flair" and want to still look cute
I like the 2nd one. I find when I'm trying to "funk" up an outfit, it's better to stick to something simple and accessorize. Do you have any big, funky earrings? I think they'd complete the outfit nicely. Good luck!

Yeah, I could definitely do some big earrings - any suggestions? Any suggestions on other jewelry, shoes, etc? Thanks blubirde!
BTW - they both look cuter IRL i swear, i took these w/a crappy camera phone
both are cute. the 1st is a bit dressier, and the second is a bit funkier. i agree with blubirde. my fool proof outfit for going out is cool jeans, a beater, and funky accessories, usually a big necklace, or crazy earrings.
i voted for #1, because it has a certain seth-cohen-ness, but both of them are really cute. i like the silver shoes, too. tell us the name of the band! i am dying!
Oh crap, I'm sorry! It's a Chicago band, Kill Hannah - www.killhannah.com I know I'm probably overthinking what to wear, but I've loved them since I was like 16 and I've always wanted to meet them.
Thanks girls for all of your help! I've decided to go w/outfit #2 and wear the silver shoes - they just funk the outfit up a bit more than my black boots. Thanks

Thanks Detroit I'll PM you tonight when it's over, unless other people want to hear how it went and then I can just post on the board. Thanks for the resassurment.
I vote for outfit #2.....I saw Kil Hanna at the Metro a few years ago and the were great....my friend worked for their label so we got to party with them afterwards....they were cool...
