For Christmas I want to buy my mom a pearl necklace or pearl earrings. Unfortunately, I know nothing about them. Where can I find good pearl necklaces? What kind are good? Can I spend less than $200?

Overstock and Smartbargains might be a good place to start .  They usually have a pretty good selection.

I just ordered some from overstock- I can give you a review when they arrive! The set I got was about $200 but they had a lot of cheaper sets too.
