Can you help me think of some things to bring in?  They can be regular food or desserts/sweets.

Thanks.

This Tortellini Salad is always a big hit for me.  Add extra dressing if preparing ahead of time.

http://salad.allrecipes.com/az/BroccoliAndTortelliniSalad.asp

Broccoli and Tortellini Salad
Crisp, fresh broccoli and cheese tortellini with a creamy
dressing are the basis of this salad. Raisins, sunflower seeds
and red onion dress it up. This recipe is most requested
at potlucks. Prep Time: approx. 10 Minutes. Cook Time:
approx. 20 Minutes. Ready in: approx. 30 Minutes. Makes 12
   servings.

Printed from Allrecipes, Submitted by Judy McNamara

6 slices bacon
20 ounces fresh cheese-filled tortellini
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup white sugar
2 teaspoons cider vinegar
3 heads fresh broccoli, cut
   into florets
1 cup raisins
1 cup sunflower seeds
1 red onion, finely chopped

Directions
1 Place bacon in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium
high heat until evenly brown. Drain, crumble and set aside.
2 Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil.
Cook tortellini in boiling water for 8 to 10 minutes or
until al dente. Drain, and rinse under cold water.
3 In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, sugar and
   vinegar to make the dressing.
4 In a large bowl, combine broccoli, tortellini, bacon,
raisins, sunflower seeds and red onion. Pour dressing over
   salad, and toss.

My sister makes this salad & I know it doesn't sound so great, but I SWEAR every single person that has ever tasted it asks her for the recipe. It is so good.

Broccoli Walnut Salad
1 head brocolli
1 head romain lettuce (or 2 hearts)
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 pack ramen noodles, chicken
3 TBS worcheteshire
salt & pepper to taste
3 TBS butter

Cut broccoli & lettuce into bite sized pieces & mix together. Saute noodles & walnuts in butter, worcheshire, & season pack from noodles until brown. Pour noodle mixture into greens after it cools.

Dressing:
1 cup oil
1/3 cup red wine vinegar
3/4 cup sugar
3 TBS soy sauce
Mix ingredients & pour on salad about 1/2 hour before serving.

Gosh, makes me want some right now!

laken1 - This is probably a really stupid question but are you supposed to boil the noodles in water before you put them into the walnut mixture to brown?  I'm not much of a cook but I made this the other night because I thought it sounded interesting and when I got to this step I was stumped.  I ended up boiling the noodles first and it turned out well but I just wanted to check with you.  TIA!

It's not a stupid question, but the answer is no. It makes those noodles really crunchy & yummy but it sounds like it turned out ok anyway!
