Mall vent
Permalink Closed

So, I was bored today after work and decided to pop into the mall since I haven't been in ages.  I have to say that there is really NOTHING at mall stores right now.  I was so disappointed!  I'm just looking for some simple camis in pink, red, grey, and brown and found ONE that was cute.  Everything else was either covered in sequins or sparkly (not my thing) or was like $50 for a cotton cami (umm...no).

I feel like everything I see online is super cute, but going to the mall, I was totally uninspired.  Does anyone else feel this way?

Sorry that happened,  what mall did you go to?

It's hard this time of year to find things that are plain without sequins and beads. Give old navy or delias a try. If you are going up north anytime soon, try H&M. hope that helps.

I went to Crabtree.  I figured all the sequins and everything were for the holidays.  It's kinda frustrating because I finally like the colors that are in stores now (reds, purples, deep jewel tones) but it's all covered in sequins and sparkles!  I'm looking for camis and other tops that I can layer to wear to work and on weekends and sequins just aren't working for me.  Eh, well, at least I saved some money.

Oh, and the Coach store has sold out of the red purse I've been lusting after and it's not on their website either.  Grrr.

I know it's that time of year, even target don't have any plain ones, but just think in a month, everyone will have their spring colors out.

Which Coach purse was it again?  Did you ask someone in the store if they had it - they have a catalog of every Coach bag in the stores and they'll order them for you if they aren't in-store.

It was this bag.  In red.  It was gorgeous.  *sigh*  But the lady said that the company was sold out right now.  I'm thinking of calling them tomorrow to see if they'll be doing any more of them.

I completely understand! I have been trying to find basic layering pieces, like the Target crinkle camis and seamless camis in jewel tones like plum, sapphire, red, cranberry, etc and I can't find any!! It's so frustrating! I just want some basics!

If I find any, I'll let you know.  I got one cute cami yesterday at Express.  It's a cranberry color with lace at the top and it's really cute.  I'd take a pic, but my husband has the digi cam today.  I think I'm going to head to Nordies tomorrow so I'll let you know if I see anything there.

Oh, yes, please do let me know!  I really, really need these basic b/c they make getting dressed so much easier since I'm all about layering! I've been quite challenged as of late b/c I'm lacking these items.
